is NOT built on Universal respect, freedom and equality, but 3000
years of patriarchal religion - the 'Worship of God the
father' - the 'Brotherhood of Man' and notions of 'God's
Chosen People' - men.
The struggle
against oppressive, exploitative domination of human societies by
privileged elites continues today against the current phase of
selfish, global capitalism and poverty.
Religion's
patriarchal role to maintain the unjust and divisive
tactics of often violent oppression of women, who challenge
female subservience and inequality.
The campaigns to
counter this weapon of suppression are Socialism,
Cooperativism, Feminism, Anti-Racism, Secularism
and Peace Activism. - all campaigns against injustice and inequality,
in which women take a lead.
Our struggles are
inextricably linked
Sexism is
one of the most pernicious and wasteful effects of male elitism and Feminism
one of the most important campaigns.
Where
might we be had women not been systematically excluded from education,
academia, the professions, science, administration and government
based on rational evidence lea decision making?
Not in this unbalanced macho
world....
